Can't find your gym or machine?

Because OFFSET includes both an 8mm and 10mm interchangeable pin, it is designed to work with the common pin sizes found across these gym chains.

Individual gyms may use a mix of equipment, so compatibility can vary between machines.

Gym Machine Brands That Typically Use an 8mm Pin

The following gym equipment brands commonly use an 8mm weight-stack pin on at least some machine ranges:

  • Etenon
  • Freemotion
  • Fringe Sport
  • Life Fitness Insignia
  • Matrix
  • Precor
  • Technogym

Matrix and Precor equipment may use either an 8mm or 10mm pin depending on the machine model.

Gym Machine Brands That Typically Use a 10mm Pin

The following commercial and home gym machine brands commonly use a 10mm weight-stack pin:

  • Arsenal Strength
  • Atlantis
  • BodyMax
  • Bolt
  • Booty Builder
  • Cybex
  • GYM80
  • Hammer Strength
  • Hoist
  • Icarian
  • Inspire
  • Life Fitness
  • Matrix
  • Nautilus
  • Panatta
  • Paramount
  • Precor
  • Prime
  • Primal Strength
  • Pulse Fitness
  • REP Fitness
  • Rogue
  • Star Trac
  • Taurus
  • True Fitness
  • Vulcan
  • Watson

Some brands manufacture several different equipment ranges, so the exact selector pin size may vary.

Will the OFFSET Increment Pin Fit My Gym Machine?

The OFFSET Increment Pin comes with both an 8mm rod and a 10mm rod, making it compatible with a wide range of commercial gym machines and home gym weight-stack machines.

Simply attach the rod that best matches the selector pin opening on the machine you are using.

The Increment Pin is designed to help you add a smaller amount of weight between the machine’s standard settings. This can make progressive overload easier when the next full plate feels like too large a jump.

How to Check Your Gym Machine Pin Size

The most reliable way to check compatibility is to measure the metal rod on the machine’s existing selector pin.

If it measures approximately:

  • 8mm, use the OFFSET 8mm rod
  • 10mm, use the OFFSET 10mm rod

Do not force a rod into a machine if it does not insert smoothly and securely.

Home Gym Compatibility

Many home gym machines and multi-gyms also use either an 8mm or 10mm selector pin.

Brands including BodyMax, Inspire, Taurus, REP Fitness and other home gym equipment manufacturers commonly use these sizes, although compatibility can vary by model.

Before using the OFFSET Increment Pin with a home gym, check the diameter of the existing selector pin and make sure the added weight can sit securely on the machine.

Important Compatibility Note

The sizes shown in this guide are typical rather than guaranteed.

Pin size can vary depending on the specific machine, model, equipment range, location and year of manufacture. Always check the machine before use and follow the equipment manufacturer’s guidance.

Still unsure? Send us a photo of the machine, weight stack or existing selector pin and we’ll help you check.
